Our Committee was established in 2021 by the Mentorship and Empowerment Committee of the Veteran Association of the First Corps of Cadets
OUR MISSION
Through mentorship and empowerment, enable Soldiers to navigate service more effectively and provide the required support to strive for and thrive in leadership positions. The group will deliberately engage, support, and develop military service members and veterans in the profession of arms, with a specific focus on further advancing representation throughout the ranks. By fostering a safe space to build connection, the group will guide military personnel personally and professionally through educational, confidence enhancing, and informative events that challenge, inspire, and provide developmental opportunities.
Our Approach
Create a formal means for leaders to directly engage, mentor, and empower junior military members. Finding a mentor can prove to be difficult and we hope to alleviate that. We host no pressure networking events outside of the military to connect Soldiers and provide them with the tools, resources, and support needed to continue their service and develop into transformational leaders.
